3:30 p.m. Lecture. Dr. G. Andrew Antonelli of Intel Corporation will discuss “Hard Times for Thin Films: A Study of the Elastic Moduli of Dielectric Films.” Life is hard when you’re the skinniest little film in school and they take you on a class trip to the beach and you have to wear a bathing suit. Just be glad you’re not the one in the pantsuit. Sanders Physics, 207

4:30 p.m. Lecture. James McQuivey of Boston University will speak on “Accidental Big Brother: How Technology Inadvertently Tracks and Monitors Us.” It’s just like that Clay Aiken song. He’s invisible and he is so watching you in your room right now. Taylor Hall, 203
