Valuables stolen from car on campus

On Oct. 7 at 3 p.m., Buildings and Grounds observed a vehicle parked in South Lot with the driver’s side window broken. The owner was contacted and reported that a CD player and IPod were taken from the car. Town police were notified. Students are reminded to keep all valuables out of sight. —Ariel Schwartz, Assistant News Editor

Students found destroying screens

An officer noticed two students involved in bending and knocking out window screens in the southeast side of Raymond on Oct. 9 at 2:20 a.m. The students were stopped before more damage could be done. A third student left the area and could not be found. —A.S.

Stop sign taken from outside Main

On Oct. 9 at 10 p.m., vehicle patrol discovered that the stop sign on the southwest side of Main Building was missing. Security would like the sign back, as this could have created a dangerous situation. —A.S.

Sinkhole discovered at Vassar Farm

A large sinkhole was found at the Vassar Farm on Oct. 9 at 12:06 p.m. The sinkhole was caused by rain. Buildings and Grounds was notified and surrounding roads were closed. —A.S.
