Town students, Poughkeepsie police, College security, and area residents met on Wednesday, Sept. 21 to discuss conduct and noise complaints.
This was the second meeting of this kind in two years. Organized by Poughkeepsie Crime Prevention Officer Eric Hawlk, the meeting consisted of seven panel members, ten community members, and two students. LaGrange housemates Pat Shields ’07 and Paul Mersfelder ’07 were the only students who came to the meeting. All students who live on LaGrange and Davis Avenues were invited.
One of the panel members was state assemblyman Joel Miller. Director of Residential Life Luis Inoa and Dean of Students D.B. Brown attended the meeting as well.
