VSA passes resolution about The Imperialist

Controversy over the article titled “Race and Freedom” in the Moderate, Independent and Conservative Alliance’s most recent issue of The Imperialist continued this weekend at a Vassar Students Association Council meeting that lasted more than two hours. Approximately 105 people, in addition to the entire Council came to discuss concerns over the language and images used in The Imperialist. After VSA president Rick Rodems ’06 reviewed the events of the previous week’s meeting, he opened the floor for open debate.
