This picture features Muriel Von Goldweiss ’64 on the set of her roommate’s senior film project, a six hour epic film entitled Lord Magpie and the Men Who Love Him. What you don’t see is a young Jacqueline Bouvier holding a whisk and syringe behind Ms. Von Goldweiss.

Vassar for a lifetime

It’s spring, which means it’s time to graduate, move to Brooklyn, and promise to keep in touch. But how? The alumni magazine is an invaluable resource to sons and daughters of Vassar looking to keep tabs on the exciting lives and successes of their former classmates.

’20 Margaret Faulkin, the final member of the “kickin’ class of ’20” has finally kicked the bucket. She was found by her partner of 30 years, Elizabeth Montana (Smith ’87). While at Vassar, Ms. Faulkin studied Euthenics and Eugenics. She was also an active member of the “I Hope Jon Cruz Will Write About Me In 85 Years” Club as well as an avid collector of dust-mites. We are proud to say that the class of 1920 is officially gone.

’31 Happily, the class of ’31 still has a few members left. Eleanor (Eli-phatty) Rogers of Westfield, NJ was recently spotted pushing shopping carts down the escalator in the Louvre.

’73 I have recently been informed that Samuel (Sam) Biederman was found splattered on the ground outside the Vassar Club building in New York City. He is said to have been “looking for airplanes” out his window in his room at the Vassar Club, when he simply craned his neck too far and fell. I heard from very reliable sources that he was only staying at the Club because he had quarreled with his lover, a Mr. Harald Petersen (Reed ’72) about a new pair of skis that Mr. Biederman had bought without telling Mr. Petersen.

’82 Theodore (Teddy) Bergman was spotted strolling down the streets of Boca Raton with a beautiful baby boy. He says, “I have named my child Davida after my first love. He’s gorgeous. I’ve dressed him in baby Uggs and Chanel!” Child Services has recently removed Davida from Mr. Bergman’s care due to “Mr. Bergman’s inability to distinguish his child from a celebrity pet.” It seems he accidentally picked up Paris Hilton’s dog rather than his child at the Hollywood premiere of the popular film Spaceballs.

’94 Mollificent (Molly) Chang (née Finkelstein) has been living in Brazil for the past 12 years searching for the “world’s best tacos.” She sends her warm regards and encourages you all to support her bid to become President of the College. “I loved college,” writes Molly, “and can think of no better way to show my love for Vassar than by siezing control of the institution, using force if necessary.” Best of luck, Molly!
