Marijuana found in Josselyn room
While doing rounds on Josselyn’s first floor, a security officer smelled marijuana in a room on Nov. 1. Two pipes were confiscated and several students were written up. —Ariel Schwartz
Students caught stealing campus bikes
Security received a report about students stealing bikes at 11:33 a.m. on Nov. 4. Town police were called, and two Vassar bikes were retrieved. Anyone missing a red or green bike should report it to security. —A.S.
Main room mini-bar confiscated
A security officer in Main building observed several students in a room on the second floor with a mini-bar containing Budweiser and Malt Liquor on Nov. 4 at 11:39 p.m. Nine bottles of alcohol were confiscated. —A.S.
Shuttle passenger smashes window
An on-campus shuttle driver reported someone in the shuttle with a beer bottle on Nov. 5 at 1:10 a.m. The person smashed one of the windows and ran. —A.S.
Sixty beer cans found in Jewett room
Security found several people drinking beer in a hallway in Jewett’s third floor on Nov. 5 at 11:20 p.m. The cans were discarded as security entered a room in which they found 17 people and 60 cans of beer. The resident of the room was underage, as were most students in the room. —A.S.
Marijuana found in Lathrop room
An officer in Lathrop’s fourth floor found students smoking marijuana in their room on Nov. 5 at 11:55 p.m. No marijuana was found in plain sight. One student refused to show ID to security. —A.S.
Marijuana and beer found in Main
Security in Main building smelled marijuana on the second floor on Nov. 6 at 3:40 a.m. Security also found a table set up with several cans of beer for beer pong. —A.S.
Vassar bikes found in New Paltz
Town Police found two bikes with Vassar College stickers in New Paltz on Nov. 6 at 1:41 p.m. One bike was silver with a red front fork. The other was light blue. —A.S.
Students jump on car roofs in THs
Students at the TH’s jumped on the roofs of several cars on Nov. 7 at 1:02 a.m. The investigation is still in progress. —A.S.
Underage drinking in the Mug
A Mug officer reported underage drinking in the Mug on Nov. 7 at 2 a.m. —A.S.
Bike missing from Lathrop
A student reported her bike missing from the bike rack in front of Lathrop on Nov. 8 at 12:46 p.m. The bike was locked to the rack, and only had a rear tire. —A.S.
