These boots were made for walkin'

print this articleemail this articleskip to comments

Although many students make the extra effort to take the trip to Walker, heading to class (and climbing up all those stairs) adds up to quite the work-out. On Monday Oct. 4, I strapped on a pedometer and went about my daily routine. My day involved class at the Center for Drama and Film, lunch at ACDC, a second class at Sander’s Classroom, and meetings in Main Building. Though the distance between these buildings would seem inconsequential, I managed to rack up 1.63 miles just walking in and around the Vassar campus. So, if you have some extra minutes before class, take the long way—it’ll make a difference.
