Intruder in Jewett
While going to his room in Jewett, a student noticed a male in his 40s enter a bathroom on Sept. 23 at 3:30 p.m. Later, the student heard something drop as he opened his room door and discovered the man in his room. The man asked the student if the room belonged to someone named 'Leonard.' When the student informed him it did not, the man left the premises. A search was performed of the building with negative results. -Ariel Schwartz

Cushing students caught drinking
A patrolling officer found a group of students in Cushing who were drinking on Sept. 23 at 11:35 p.m. Twelve students were issued violations for underage drinking and open containers. A keg was also found in the closet along with two bottles of gin and two 48-ounce bottles of beer. -A.S.

Marijuana found in Lathrop
An officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana in Lathrop on Sept. 24 at 12:04 a.m. Five students were in the room. One pipe and one bag of marijuana were confiscated. Students received violation notices. -A.S.

Jewett bikes removed
Two bikes were removed inside Jewett by security on Sept. 24 at 9 a.m. They were chained to a railing near a handicapped access point of the building. -A.S.

Man arrested for fake I.D.
A patrolling officer observed a male coming out of Davison who looked like he was lost on Sept. 26 at 1:30 a.m. When asked for identification, the man responded he was not a student and ran. Five minutes later, security noticed another male come out of Davison. He showed the officer two New York State Driver's Licenses identifying him as the same person. Police were contacted and the man was arrested for possessing a fake I.D. -A.S.

Security cars vandalized
Security responded to Townhouse complaints of noise on Sept. 26 at 2 a.m. While security investigated, someone sprayed two security cars with red paint, which has since been removed. There are no suspects at this time. -A.S.

Bike robbers apprehended
Security was alerted that six young people near bike racks were arguing over who would steal which bike on Sept. 26 at 5:30 p.m. They were interviewed by Poughkeepsie police and security. -A.S.

Man sighted doing lewd act
A student was working late at the library when she noticed a man in gray shorts with short hair, 30 to 36 years of age, who appeared to be doing a sexually lewd act on Sept. 26 at 10:39 p.m. When advised, security did a check of the building to no avail. -A.S.

Digital video camera stolen
The Athletic Center reported a digital video camera missing, valued at $500, on Sept. 27 at 1:15 p.m. It was believed to have been removed from the pool area of the building. -A.S.

iPod and golf course flag reported missing
A student reported that they lost their 10 gigabyte iPod in the College Center on Sept. 28. The value is between $250 and $300. Also, the golf course reported a flag missing from the first hole. Anyone with information about these items should contact security. -A.S.
