The Vassar Student Association is proud to be one of a few student organizations within the United States to have the ability to influence the academic climate of its respective institution. The VP for Academics is charged with enhancing the academic experience for members of the VSA.
Vassar's Peer Advising system allows new students to reach out to interested juniors and seniors when they have academic, curricular, or scheduling questions. Some questions can only be answered by another student (what's it like to balance sociology and art history as majors?) and some are too specific to be brought to a faculty member (what was it like studying physics at the University of Madrid?). The database is extremely easy to use and will probably solve most of your problems (it's also an appropriate way to get help with coursework).
